BEGINNERS HANDBUILDING
ONLY $380
Wednesday evenings 6.30 – 9.00pm : 11th Feburary – 1st April
Learn basic handbuilding and glazing techniques to produce a range of functional and decorative wares during 8 x 2.5 hour weekly lessons
INTERMEDIATE HANDBUILDING
ONLY $160
10am – 5pm Sunday 15th February
Continue to build on your ceramics skills using coil and slab handbuilding methods.
Participants are also invited to bring up to 3 bisque fired pieces to try a range of glazing techniques
(recent handbuilding classes or experience required – please check first before registering if you are unsure)
5 WEEK WHEEL THROWING COURSE
ONLY $275
6 – 9pm Thursday 5th February – 12th March
(no class 5th March to allow your pottery to dry and be bisque fired)
This is an excellent course for the total beginner wanting to try their hand at throwing
on the potter’s wheel for the first time, and the maker with previous experience looking to refresh their skills.
The complete cycle of creating pottery on the potter’s wheel will be introduced to
you – centering, opening, pulling walls, creating form, trimming, surface decoration and glazing.
You will start by learning to make functional pottery forms such as mugs, bowls and vases.
As you progress your skills you will discover the art of bringing clay into form is a highly satisfying and rewarding journey.
Our small class size of 5 ensures plenty of individual guidance.
Fees include 5 x 3 hour weekly lessons, one 10kg of stoneware clay, access to studio glazes, bisque and glaze firing of your creations.

Registrations close 14 days prior to the first sessison or workshop date.
Registrations are confirmed on receipt of payment.

Refunds requested 14 or more days prior to the commencement date will incur a $25 administration fee.
No refunds will be granted less than 14 days prior to, or after the commencement date.
