MEMBERS ONLY PARTICIPATION OPTIONS

A Rockingham Ceramics Studio Membership is only $50 per year and will give you discounts and early notice for most classes & workshops, as well as eligibility to participate in the following options. Please be sure to check out the pre-requisites for each option prior to taking out a membership.

SOCIAL GROUPS

ONLY $100 for  a 10 week term

For members who have completed one of our Beginners Classes or have previous ceramics experience, including handbuilding and glazing.

Fees include one 3 hour session per week, use of our equipment and glazes and firing of all work created in the studio.

Social group members can also bring in up to 2 pieces of work from home each week.

Our firing schedule includes Bisque (1000°), Earthenware Glaze (1080°) and Stoneware Glaze (1280°). With enough interest we will also offer Mid-Fire Glaze (1220°).

Current Social Group times include Monday & Tuesday evening and Wednesday & Saturday morning.

HOME BODIES

For members who have previousceramics experience including handbuilding and glazing, or have completed one of our beginners classes, who are not able to make it to one of our social groups

ONLY $100 for a 10 week term

Do all the creating and glazing at home.

Maximum of 8 pieces per fortnight (non cumulative) for 1 firing.

KILN HIRE

For members who have previous ceramics experience including handbuilding and glazing, or have completed one of our Beginners Classes, who want a larger number of items fired at one time.

Earthenware Glaze Firing 1080°C – $50

Stoneware Glaze Firing 1300°C – $60

Alternative temperatures (below 1300°C) available on request – $60

WORKSHOPS

Throughout the year we offer a variety of workshops to add to your ceramics skills and knowledge.

Some workshop are suitable for beginners and will also be open to the public – but members will be offered a discount and receive advance notice when registrations open.

Members only workshops require members to have previous ceramics experience including handbuilding and glazing, or have completed one of our Beginners Classes.

WHEEL THROWING WORKSHOPS – we are not currenly offering wheel throwing workshops for beginners.
